Bask in the good vibes of this drag brunch. Diamond Dior Davenport hosts with featured performers Amber Nicole Davenport, Tara Cotta, Natasha Capri, and Omari Dior; DJ KICKIT spins; and Frida Friday brings a vendor market.

Viva Fest

The second annual arts and culture festival powered by Las Ofrendas honors La Frida like Austin has never seen before. Featuring live performances from Mariachi Las Coronelas, Miguel St. Miguel, t﻿he Tiarras, and E﻿va Ybarra; drag performances by Grandma Steven, Bobby Pudrido, Alexandria Van Cartier, Venus Rising, and Danny Blast; tunes from DJs Kickit, All Day Ray, Zetroc, Rosez, La Moon, and more; plus a special curated Frida Friday ATX market showcasing some of Austin's best BIPOC and queer artists and small-business owners. Come dressed as your favorite Frida painting for a chance to enter the costume contest, and check out the Tribute to Frida Gallery Wall curated by Monica Cenicero.

KMFA lets its weekend host Guillermo Delgado out on a weekday to challenge the classically inclined. The trivia theme is … [checks calendar] … love! Also, who knew the KMFA crew had a cupid squad? We didn’t, but they’ll be there. The organizers claim you don’t need any knowledge of symphonies, etudes and whatnot to have fun, but you’re probably not going to walk away with the Beethoven Bust. Aside from bragging rights, the winners walk away with tickets to an upcoming Austin Opera production. – James Renovitch

Guillermo’s Classical Music Trivia Night

Twilight trivia? Where the hell have you been, loca?! The pop culture vultures over at Get It Games return with a two-hour quiz based on the 2008 film that kick-started a years-long sensation, and the questions write themselves: How long have you been 17? Which indie rock band sings this soundtrack song? How did Taylor Lautner get away with playing a Native American for so long? Host the Brewtorium offers a themed menu, and costumes are encouraged.
