From woven tapestries of ocean garbage to quilted scenes of trans injustice, this group show brings together 10 artists who explore hard stuff in soft ways. Curator Hannah Spector asked each artist in this group show to create a work that depicts an alternate  way of telling time – one that strays from a capitalist framework. Imagining time as distance, telling time through task, through objects that fall apart, through rhythms of the body, and so on in gloriously visual fashion.

Six artists tell the connective story of the Philippines, reclaiming their history, rejecting the manipulation of the colonizers who inhabited their home for four centuries, and building a future of healing and empowerment.
