This night's an extravaganza of music from and inspired by 17th-century Venice, with the orchestra presenting a selection of chamber, sacred, and operatic music from that fabled city. Music by Monteverdi, Cavalli, Biber, and more, performed by five vocal soloists accompanied by an intimate instrumental ensemble.
